Our History

 Nowadays the company UkrESCO is successfully implementing energy saving projects with involving EBRD loan funds, provided under the Loan Agreement “Financing of Ukrainian ESCO (Phase II)”.

Key Events

March 15th, 2006 – Loan Agreement between Ukraine and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: “Financing of Ukrainian ESCO (Phase II)” was ratified by Verhovna Rada.

October 21st, 2005 – Loan Agreement “Financing of Ukrainian ESCO (Phase II)” was signed by Ukraine and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

2000-2005 years - 19 energy saving projects were realized using EBRD loan funds for the total amount about USD 20 million (The First Phase of financing)

2004 year – UkrESCO was awarded with Diploma of All-Ukrainian project “Industry and Entrepreneurship of Ukraine” under the nomination “The Leader of Industry and Entrepreneurship of Ukraine - 2004”.

2000 year – UkrESCO has become a member of European Association of Cogeneration Development („COGEN Europe”) www.cogeneurope.eu

May 13th, 1999 – The Loan Agreement “Financing of Ukrainian ESCO” between Ukraine and EBRD was ratified

May 9th, 1998 - The Loan Agreement “Financing of Ukrainian ESCO” between Ukraine and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was signed

April 23rd, 1998 – the date of state registration of Closed Joint Stock Company “Ukrainian Energy Service Company” (UkrESCO). (State Registration Certificate No. 007169)

March 23rd, 1998 – Closed Joint Stock Company “Ukrainian Energy Service Company” was established by the Resolution of Common Shareholders Meeting in pursuance of Decree of Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers dd. December 20th, 1997 No. 1422 “About Foundation of Energy Service Company”.

December, 1994 - Memorandum as for mutual understanding within the frames of European Union Actions Plan concerning the Ukrainian energy sector. There was formed and stated the idea of establishment and financing of Ukrainian Energy Service Company.
